Dual mode: running protel MPE and HQ together
Not every property has the bandwidth needed to work in real time all the time. That's why we give our clients the option of running protel MPE and protel HQ in dual mode.
Hotels with broadband lines use protel MPE. All other properties in the group - which use dial-up or similar connections - are connected through protel HQ. These hotels then upload their data to protel MPE's central Microsoft SQL database in regular intervals.
