Data transfer via dial-up
protel HQ keeps the data flowing between individual hotels who are not in constant communications with one another. It has very low bandwidth requirements, allowing individual hotels to connect over slow ISDN or even analogue modem lines. The frequency and volume of the data transfers can be defined individually. Unlike protel MPE, protel HQ stores information in the hotels' local databases, and not in a central repository. If your technical infrastructure doesn't support broad data streams between locations, or if you don't want continuous data transmissions, protel HQ is the right solution for you.
